A vase is a vase is a vase?
In this exhibition, two artists show work inspired by the theme of a vase. The objects refer to vases, but can be seen as individual pieces.
Wouter Dam throws and turns the clay first is a vase-like form and cut different parts of the object to create a new piece in which the reference of the vase is still present.
He adds pigment to the glazes to obtain vibrant colours so that the objects shine in the room.
Liesbeth Kamps hand builds her containers with layers of clay and uses colour to create a specific atmosphere. In her unica, the colours and forms are joyful, while her more recent work is black on which colourful doths are added.
The exhibition runs from 21/10/2018 until 13/01/2019 and is open on Saturday and Sunday from 14:00-16:00 hours and by appointment on 0494-285894.
